Xbox Game Pass is closing out July 2026 with a solid second wave, mixing fresh day-one launches with a few notable additions spread across cloud, console, handheld, and PC. The biggest headline is Halo: Campaign Evolved, which is set to arrive on July 28 as a day-one release for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

That makes the remake one of the relatively few first-party Microsoft games to land on the service immediately at launch. It is also another reminder that while Xbox continues to use Game Pass for select major releases, Call of Duty still stands apart as the obvious exception.

Another major launch in this update is Beast of Reincarnation, a new action RPG from Game Freak, the developer most players know for the Pokémon franchise. It joins the subscription library on August 4 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, giving subscribers another day-one release to keep an eye on.

Beyond those two standouts, the late-July and early-August schedule brings a varied mix of genres. Shift at Midnight, described as an online co-op detective horror game, arrives first on July 22. Then Mistfall Hunter, a dark fantasy extraction ARPG, follows on July 30.

As always, new additions also mean some departures. Microsoft has confirmed another batch of titles will rotate out of the catalog at the end of the month. If there is anything on the outgoing list you still want to keep in your library, subscribers can buy those games at a discount before they leave the service.
